Whitetail Creek Resort has motel rooms, cabins, RV sites, camping cabins, and yurts. Motel room options include: rooms with one queen bed (Rooms 9, 11, 12, 13, 14A), standard double rooms with two double beds (Rooms 8, 10), double queen rooms/kitchen with two queen beds, a deck or patio with table and chairs (Rooms 14B, 16, 17), and family motel rooms/kitchen with three queen beds, a futon, DISH TV, and a patio with a picnic table (Room 15). Cabin options include: comfort queen cabins with one queen bed, club (double) cabins with two full-size beds and a refrigerator, deluxe queen cabins/kitchen with one queen bed and a full kitchen, and family cabins/kitchen with two queen beds, a futon, air conditioning, a full kitchen, a coffee maker, and a TV/DVD/VCR. Standard camping cabins (Cabins 18, 19) feature built-in bunk beds. Deluxe camping cabins include a queen-size mattress in the loft or a full-size futon on the main floor, pub table and stools, lamps, fans, and electricity. Yurts include a queen-size bed, bedside stands, luggage stands, a table, chairs, camp lanterns, a front deck with table and chairs, and a fire pit. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and air conditioning. Some rooms have a patio with a river view.

Guests can use the Starlink internet service, two 4-man barrel saunas, a pavilion with picnic tables, a beer/wine bar, a gas fire pit, and Adirondack chairs. There is a large social fire pit, hammock chairs, swing chairs, and ATV/snowmobile trail access. Guests can pan for gold in Whitetail Creek, and use charcoal grills. Safety features include a fire extinguisher, a smoke detector, a security system, and a first aid kit.

The Creekside Pavilion features the Buck Snort Beer Patio with bar service. There are two big-screen TVs and a fire pit. A hearty breakfast is available at The Switch, which offers something different each morning. The Buck Snort Beer Patio serves beer, wine, and popcorn in the afternoons and evenings.

Whitetail Creek Resort sits alongside Whitetail Creek, surrounded by woods and hills, at the base of trail 5W. Guests can enjoy skiing and cycling. Snowmobiling is available. The resort provides access to ATV/UTV trails, biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, and fly fishing. Terry Peak Ski Area is 4 km away. Black Hills Mining Museum, Homestake Mansion, Aspire Boutique, and Lead City Hall are within 4 km. Terry Peak is 3 km away. Broken Boot Gold Mine is 7 km away. Presidents Park and Mystic Miner Mountain Resort are within 3 km. Rapid City Regional Airport is 94 km from the resort.

Whitetail Creek Resort offers trailer parking on-site. The property has direct trail access from property (5W). The resort sells trail passes and maps. There is a deer hanger for hunters. A heated shop is available for repairs. Check-out time is 10:30 AM for all accommodations. Whitetail Creek Resort is a 'Pet-Free'' property, but pets are allowed for RV sites guests only (Max 1 pet unless pre-approved by management). All pets must be on a leash.
